Muzic Box (Chicago)
The Muzic Box is the follow up of the Warehouse in Chicago.
The Warehouse (or the " House" ) was a nightclub in Chicago, Illinois, which was founded in 1977 and led by Robert Williams. After Frankie Knuckles left the place in 1982,
The club was closed for a couple of months before Ron Hardy at the DJ at the Warehouse's new location until Robert Williams renamed it "The Muzic Box."
In early 1987, Chicago passed an ordinance forcing after-hours clubs to close at the same time as bars, and The Muzic Box was one of many casualties. After the closure of the Muzik Box, Hardy continued to DJ at various events around Chicago. However he battled with heroin addiction and did not manage to overcome this. He died on March 2, 1992.
